Blazers front office and GM need to be aware of the Lakers obvious game plan. Just think about how close their contracts are in salary. Yet Lillard is 100 times better than Westbrook. Don’t take the trash that is Russell Westbrook in any trade for Lillard. Better yet don’t trade with the Lakers organization at all. Bunch of snakes there.

I think lebron wants russ aka someone else who can attack the defense. lakers ballhandling became pathetic after rondo left. I thought schroder was that guy but I was wrong. schroder doesnt create fear in the other team the way westbrook does.

If things fail this season, then Lakers have a 47mill expiring contract next summer. Teams will like that possibility.

Not for Lillard but another star. Lillard will require a lot more assets (3-4 1st round picks) Lakers don't have.

Lillard for westbrook straight up 1 to 1 trade is good for portland. Take wtv u can get from leGod.

But... you think LeBron & AD would have a meeting two+ weeks ago with Russ just so that he would then get traded for Lillard?

Aside from LBJ & AD taking reputation hits, that's the kind of shit that makes star players not want to come play for your franchise in the future.

If the Lakers trade Russ for Lillard before the season starts I will eat my shoe.
