4 years 72 million hahahahah what a sucker. Everybody knows Hardaway Jr isn't a real star and doesn't play defense.

Ouch.

Hes an ok player and it’s not a horrendous contract by today’s salary measures I guess, but if this is the only real move they have available to them... theyre gonna be stuck in mediocrity for a while.

That isn't a bad contract for a 3rd option scorer. Problem is they need a 2. Porzingis has been an injury prone underachiever.

This is one of the reasons why i've said luka won't win chips. Like anyone he needs the right pieces around him and i don't know if that will happen for a couple reasons.

He seems like jokic, wants to stay with the team that drafted him. I hope he doesn't mind losing every year in the first couple of rounds.

Well there's talk that Dragic will be part of the Lowry S&T to match salaries and that Dragic may end up with the Mavs. He's no #2 option but he'll make a decent 6th man.

17m/year is more of a 3rd option, and in some cases 4th option for a team in cap hell. Mavs issue is what to do with the unicorn.

From what I understand Mavs still have some cash to spend.. who can they target? I seriously have no idea what moves this team can make to improve.

No one claims Hardaway JR is a star but he isn't a bad player at all. He isn't the problem.
