300k so far this year were referred to the ICE for adjudication and everyone else they encountered was denied and turned away. That averages out to about 50k per month being able to present their cases. Note "present their case", which does not mean settle down in USA.

If a certain number of people got through anyways, there isn't much you can do for those who luck out and get past. Still, ICE has been deporting tons of illegals out of the country under Biden so it's not like these people keep coming in and nobody is being deported. You have to consider both inflow and outflow to figure out the overall number each month. This is not rocket science.

We are halfway through the year and 300k people are legally being considered for asylum total to date. That's reasonable. Allowing in 50k per month is reasonable. Test them for covid and vaccinate them if they are being considered for asylum. If they are not up for asylum then just deny them. Take their photo so you can id them if they get caught again trying to cross. I don't know what you do with them tbh, but you can deny automatically on that basis.

The people up for asylum need to stay put instead of freely roaming around. It should not be hard to setup barracks in a secluded area of the border and refuse to let them cross into American side while they are awaiting court date.
