The way the contracts are, this is what they have to do. I would have at least signed younger guys

It's either young D league players with no experience regular season or playoffs or proven veterans who can still produce good numbers and understand playoff basketball ? if you were running a team who would you sign ? if your cap space is already full, and you can only sign either veterans or D league talent ? because nobody else that are not rookies and have experience will play for little money, so you have two choices veterans or rookies ?

They added like five 40% 3-point shooters after not having any shooting at all.

This was a pretty good offseason, given their cap situation.

People can laugh all they want but Melo, Monk, Ellington, Bazemore are solid rotation players/shooters.

Of course they won't be a great defensive team, but Howard and Davis at least protect the paint.

Smart man. They just brought a truck full of high volume 3 point shooters, exactly what they needed.

How can you be a scrub when you shoot 41 percent from deep?
Ok it was his best season from deep and he may regress, but who was a better option as a vet min.?

How is he a scrub? He played 20 minutes a game, wasn't a liability on D & shot the 3 well for a team that had one of the 8 best records in the West, that's a solid pick-up for the minimum.

Bazemore is a great-value 3&D guy: 6-5, with a big wingspan, athletic, and can shoot.

Yep, defended better than stephen curry last season.

They made him a starter for the last 17 games of the season and he averaged 11/5/2/2 with 42.6% from 3 on 4 attempts a game in 29 MPG & they won 13 of those games. He's not a game-changer but he's a perfect fit for this roster.

Why are you so obsessed with Curry? Bazemore shot over 40% from 3 for the first time in his career with Steph.
