Couldn't hurt. No pun intended since he's always injured.

But finally!!!!!!!!!! They made a splash

Typical knicks move. Have fun with your 2nd round exits

Love it. Finally.

They still have some $$$ left over. Maybe get a Danny Green or Gallinari.

Rose is better

At his age Rose is better off playing roughly 25 minutes per game so they needed to being in someone else anyway.

They're missing a shot-creator from the perimeter so even a middle-tier one is nice. Still no chance in a series against Nets, Bucks, Sixers, or Hawks though.

Thanks I'll take that as that would be an improvement from this past season. Not sure about even making it to the 2nd round. Bucks, Nets, Philly, Hawks, Heat are better. Which one of them are they beating in the 1st round? I'm a realistic Knicks fan so you can't really troll me.

To be fair signing Kemba Walker is probably the biggest thing to happen to them in years :oldlol:

Better than watching randle choke every possession..

Good move to replace ntlikina and Payton they’re trash..

Good signing

If he plays well, Kemba can be a good trade asset for Dame. With a few more matching contracts of course. Not saying it'll happen, but New York is on the up and up.

100% chance he drops 50 on the Celtics :oldlol:

Yeah, if anything, this takes the ball out of Randle's hands in terms of him moving the ball up the court as a Point Forward. Randle is a turnover machine.

Knicks already at an advantage with less turnovers.

No he isn’t.

Of course he is. More efficient from everywhere, better handler, better passer, better defender, pushes the tempo better, more of a team player, and now hes not even more injury prone than Kemba. Rose's knees are probably in better shape.

I know you think it makes you look knowledgeable and cool to shit on Rose, but its the opposite. He turned the Knicks' season last year and was their best player in the playoffs. I will repeat this to oblivion until it gets through people's heads. Hes still an allstar level player.

Kemba was more efficient than Rose last year and that was during an injury plagued season. They weren’t even close the season before when Kemba was healthy.

Rose had the better RS & Playoffs. There's a reason why Kemba was traded & bought out, he's not going to be healthy. Knicks took a gamble here. Rose is a better playmaker, finisher, mid-range shooter & a much better defensive player.

For the record Rose's TS of 56.5% was slightly better than Kemba's 55.9%. :lol

I don't give a crap personally but i wanted to cut PeroAntic some slack. He is so devoted to his man.

Besides he only played 15 games for Detroit and they were garbage. Can't really fault him for that. He was pretty big for the Knicks.

Maybe he shouldn’t have been so crap in those 15 games :confusedshrug:

Kemba dealt with injuries all year no one thought Rose was anywhere close to him the prior season.

I was really expecting kemba to do well in Boston but he has been falling apart. Watch him show out for the Knicks.

Rose has had his share of injuries but peroantic's love for him has never wavered.

Funny how PA talks about him with so much enthusiasm as if it's still 2011. He can't seem to accept that he's already a bit washed up with no significance in the league in the last five years whatsoever.

I like this for kemba. Will fit in with ny much better than he did with Boston. He will have a resurgence.

This doesn't really change anything. It could be peak Kemba and it really wouldn't change anything. You aren't doing anything without a superstar.. Another first round exit coming basically.

If he is healthy he should help. The Knicks lacked playmaking which really hurt them in the playoffs.

Big if though.

I don't think he'll give them much playmaking anyways. Things get really tough for him when defenses hunker down in the half court set during playoff time. He was almost unplayable during the last two postseasons, save for a performance here and there.

McBride will make the most of it if Kemba and Rose start needing rest. Kid can play. Quickley can also slide to the 1. Knicks solid at the PG spot

Facts. Was there best player when it mattered in the playoffs. At times out performed Trae.

walker is a shell of himself when he was with the Hornets carrying them.
Walker's injury effected his patented jumper , and his confidence has waned.
There's a reason why Boston moved on from him , and it was not Brown.
If he can regain 60-70% of what he was in Char.. he could be a helpful asset to the Knicks.

What? His injury didn’t mess with his jumper at all lol. Kemba his last game of the regular season dropped 36 on Miami and looked good. His scoring was always there he just couldn’t stay healthy. You do realize he was averaging 20 with Boston in both years when he did play? Just needs to stay on the court. If his play does fall off a bit, it won’t be because his jumper.

When he was in the playoffs all of his jumpers fell short ,, guess that doesn't count , nor the lack of controlling the Celtics... He is a skelton of himself when
he was with the bee's

It's all about his health and in that tegard he's in the same boat as Rose was. I am not going to root against the man's health, that would be evil. Not am i going to pretend to be a doctor and act like I know his knees are shot. I do believe that had he not been injured his tenure with the Celtics would have been great and if he can get right he'll be good for the Knicks. Unfortunately the injury made him a bad return on investment for Boston. Knicks should let him not play for the first half of the season or whatever the most extreme doctor says and then see what him and Rose can do taking turns load managing.
