Its crazy that all of the spurs rings are with duncan, miami’s are with wade and the bulls’ are with jordan. The only two rockets rings are with hakeem.

Only 8 teams have won 3 and more championships.

22 other teams really thirsting out there.

Lakers fielded a championship team every calendar decade except the 60s (in which they still made the finals many times)

They didn't win once in the 90's, made just one Final too

I think and hope that they are too old and James and Westbrook are a poor fit. They have a ton of on paper talent but James is better off with a shooter.

Minneapolis/Los Angeles

They can't even claim all their championships.

They won the title in 2000 as part of a season that started in 1999. So technically a laker champion team was active in the 90s. It’s a stretch but that’s what I meant to convey when I said ‘calendar decade’. Also Staples opened in 99, official consecrating that three peat dynasty in 1999

The Lakers are definitely a better franchise.

Boston is only that high on the list because they happened to draft 1 particular guy... Bill Russell.

They'd be really good compared to the rest of the league but not in this conversation of top franchise... without said 1 guy.

The Lakers you can take away any 1 guy and they still have a ton of rings. Not true of the Celtics. The Celtics haven't been truly relevant for 30+ years/since Larry Bird. Yeah, they had a couple of goes at the title with Garnett but that was short lived.

Oh but wait... I forgot... ISH and online brain dead logic would dictate that the Celtics have a way way way more impressive history.

After all, the Lakers are only 17 of 32 while the Celtics are 17 of 21.

Damn Lakers ****ing up their legacy by losing in the Finals. :facepalm

They should rank it based on finals appearance then and not on rings won if that is the new criteria nowadays :confusedshrug:

You'd have a point if more than half of the Celtic's rings came from a league with more than 10 teams. Only 8 of their rings came from a league with more than 10 teams. Only 3 of the Lakers rings came from a league with 10 or less teams in the entire league.

Celtic nation has been sucking in our dust for decades already

I bet you'd acknowledge those 10 team league rings if the Fakers had won them. They were after all part of the league but unfortunately they were the Celtics' whipping boys in the finals. It took decades of signing superstar free agents due to LA and Hollywood, the league gifting titles from time to time and the Celtics suffering from all kinds of injuries and tragedies for you to catch up.

And you actually think that you are better. **** the Lakers.
