Giving up 63 points to one player and still somehow winning the game. Says a lot about a team. How many times has this even happened? Only once in the playoffs. And to think that this same team would get clobbered by Philly a lot of nights. Other teams, such as New York, could clobber Boston, but only Philly could do it more than once in a blue moon - says something about those Philly teams. That means both these teams would beat the Bulls sometimes.

I remember that time when the toronto raptors in the 2019 finals gave up 47 points to stephen curry but still managed in blowing out the warriors by 14 points, despite the latter being favorites in their fifth consecutive finals run. Oh, and take note. This happened in the oracle arena at oakland as well, which was also their last stand before moving out to chase center in san francisco the succeeding season. Jordan despite being 1-9 without pippen averaged that 63 points in boston garden but at least it was iconic somehow unlike the former.

Jordan was thrown into the playoffs in Year 1 with an eight seed, while Curry, Lebron, Durant and most players got 3 years to develop into high seeds before entering the playoffs.. Low seeds generally lose and high seeds generally win.

For example, the 2004 Cavs had zero all-stars, but improved to 2 all-stars in 2005, and then added a 22/6/5 all-defender and the future COY to finally make the playoffs as a high seed in 2006.. So Lebron got 3 years to develop his team to the same level as 88' Jordan (Jordan's 3rd healthy year)
