....that has Javale McGee, Keldon Johnson, Bam Adebayo, Jerami Grant - probably the weakest US team in a couple decades, but Lebron could only lead a team to bronze?

Because Tim Duncan is the worst leader in US sports history.

He was winning MVPs in early 2000s and completely shat the bed.

Because the 04 team was worse.

To follow up...

the 2004 Olympic team had:

- 2 players that were all stars that season.

- 1 guy who made any of the all nba teams

- 7 players (out of 12) who were 22 or younger and had likely never played international ball

- 3 players who never made an all star game

An unprecedented level of talent opted out that year.

This is a classic ISH troll thread. Funny how a 19 year old LeBron who only played 12 mpg gets blamed for the loss while team USA had a prime Duncan & Iverson on the team playing majority of the minutes, why does the 2004 failures never get mentioned for Duncan & Iverson? Hmmm, I wonder.

Duncan the only all time great that can have monumental failures and nobody cares.

Bron just can't LEAD a team to a gold, it is what it is

Maybe because the league aren't there to look after him and push the narrative...

2004, after Lebron's rookie year?

Weak trolling attempt. 1 star thread.

Lebron can’t lead team to gold medal

Just like how Lebron can’t lead any of his team to a title. He was bailed by his teammates over and over

Lebron is just a born beta boy. Nothing wrong with that

Kevin Durant averages GOAT numbers on Lebron in the playoffs. His jumper and off ball game are so much better. He can still do the same dribble spam Lebron does, but if need be he can work off ball and shoot off screens quick strike. He's beaten Bran down so bad right before our eyes I don't know how anybody could not see he's easily better at basketball.

Facts. Also, the opponents are much tougher compared to '04 with international players improving every year with more of them coming into the NBA.

Yikes OP got bullied badly. Only the resident cavemen like ImRetarded and that psychotic Duncan fan agreed with him.

Look against who he was playing lol. His biggest threat in the final was a bench warmer in the NBA and frkin 90 yr old Patty Mills won 3rd place. Other teams used to be alot better. The US and other teams this yr were horrendous. The US even lost to Nigeria lwith Durant ol

My bad

I forgot alpha Delonte banging Lebron mom right in front of him, while beta Lebron just watch and couldn’t do anything about it

Good thread.

What's funny is that the same people propping up KDs teammates were expecting Team USA to lose. Lol.

KD just has higher standards- it is what it is.
