As a moderate, I think these kind of movements are quite ridiculous but at the same time I understand the concept of a one-world nation and how that is ultimately the way to go from utopian standpoint. It's a far-out concept but oof, I feel bad for these people. They must be monitored and tracked all day and night by Homeland Security as potential domestic terrorists.

That said, a one world government could also lead to the total authoritarian hellscape George Lucas alluded to in THX1138 and that Orwell saw coming a long time ago. Like China. It would also dilute culture to one gray force, instead of the seperate cultural entities we have now. Everyone would be in the same culture, the human culture. Kind of bland if you like variety.

Nationalists see things much differently when it comes to this issue, I get that. I fall somewhere in between the extremes.

I am a conservative liberal , from the 60's generation.... Liberals have gotten a bad rap as well as conservatives... we were always in on Bipartisan actions ... which is now a dead dinosaur.
