I would have said "Barkley easy" when I was younger, but now I am wiser, I can see that Barkley was an exceptional talent who had some pretty serious issues with work ethic and being a team player.

I would say Barkley was the Luka Doncic at the power forward position. GOAT potential, but ultimately should have spent more time learning to play defense instead of grabbing defensive rebounds.

I think most will say peak Barkley was better but whose career would you take when you consider longevity, much better dedication to the game/fitness along with his superior D and just being a better fit for most teams? I would most certainly take Malone. But Barkley's star shined brighter but burned much quicker too. But not like Malone was THAT far behind Chuck either peak wise.
