Ron averaged 20 ppg in his last year with the LA Clippers. He became a solid defender for the Bulls.

He was averaging 20 ppg on bad efficiency with a 27 win Clippers team, sure that had something to do with it. And adjusting to the triangle can be tough, as well as past injury issues.

I remember how Artest never really fit in that offense when he joined the Lakers, I always felt Ariza was a better fit.

He averaged those 20 points on 18 shots on a shit team where he was basically allowed to do whatever he wanted. Harper also had a lot of problems with grasping the triangle offense when he first joined in 95.

He had his usage cut in half due to being next to Jordan/Pippen. He also had his minutes cut in half.

Played the iggy role and was still valuable.

1995 as well, he accepted a role player role. He was always a pretty terrible offensive player actually outside of the 80s.

He changed his role in order to fit in with the team. He became much more of a defensive player, and let the offense go through other players. Very smart move in my opinion, to be honest.

This plus scoring 20 points on a bum team isn't the same as scoring 20 on a contender.
