When will these stupid ass "hosts" realize that nobody gives af about their opinions? They're not in the talking seats for a reason. Like it or not, right or wrong, men don't want to sit around and watch women offer up their opinions on competitive men's sports, most of the time. Sorry, that's just how it goes. And men are the target audience for these shows because men are the ones that consume sports. Men like to consume sports more than women do. That's not an opinion, it's a fact.

It will take a very special woman with very special insight and or entertainment abilities for men to be ok with a woman sitting in on one of these shows and the ratings not tanking. But the problem there... is that women aren't funny and when they get into heated debates they come off as nagging and insufferable because of their voices and facial expressions.

If the show was Jenny sitting in Skip's place, the show would get cancelled. Skip is a jackass troll that has basically made his career hating on one guy specifically. But guys keep watching. And they keep watching for two reasons. 1) Some of them are dumb af and agree almost wholeheartedly with everything Skip says and it reinforces their idiotic world view and 2) even the ones that aren't dumb af are entertained by his antics. Most of what Skip says is straight up bullshit and he's one of the biggest mental gymnasts you will see on TV but most of it is an act. He's there to entertain you. And it works, generally speaking. Shannon is entertaining af too. He really knows how to go over the top.

Just like over on First Take... if SAS wasn't there, the show would get cancelled. He purposefully goes over the top although no where near Skip level because that's the show. If Molly sat in for either SAS or Max, that show is donezo immediately. But more-so SAS.
