Do you want an honest answer?

It's because young people tend to be left leaning because young people don't have a damn clue about how the world works. They only know ideals and feel good bullshit. They don't know objective reality and a lot of them can't comprehend it. And they won't comprehend it until life kicks them in the head. And young people tend to post on forums more than older folks do.

America is trending left in a very big way whether you like it or not. Nothing is going to stop the ocean from coming in. It's like trying to sweep the waves back into the ocean. An absolute exercise in futility and there is nothing you can do to stop it. America has been trending left for a really, really long time.

The absolute core issue is... we live in a democracy... and people in general are not ok with / do not understand / are unwilling to accept the fact that life isn't fair. Therefore, the size of central government will always grow and grow and as such, trend left. Governments want power. They do not want to give their power back. That is human nature. And as a result of government growing in size, the private sector psychopaths ALSO have more influence over our lives than ever before because the buy the government.

Until something comes along and saves humanity in terms of Earthly experience by stripping away the power of centralized psychopathy called government... and that thing is called Bitcoin... there is no hope. Perhaps in the afterlife, but here on Earth? Nah. You and I won't be around for it.

Also, the other thing is, truth be told, life isn't that bad. Unless you are so desperate that you can't pay your rent whatsoever or put food in your stomach, chances are your life is pretty good. We just move the goalposts on that, too. And as extremely wealthy assholes compared to most of the world, we tend to focus on minor inconveniences in life (the political opinions of others that have no bearing on our day to day lives, for example) rather than focus on the good things and the things we are grateful for.
