The level of confidence associated with each key finding is reported using the IPCC calibrated language.

The underlying scientific basis of each key finding is indicated by references provided to chapter elements. In the SPM, knowledge gaps are identified associated with the underlying chapters of the Report.

Look, they are not always right about every theoretical detail but it does seem like the overwhelming majority of scientists agree... we cannot sustain our current way of doing things, especially in the industrialized parts of the world and we need to continue to change and modernize our infrastructure. Period. The data is OVERWHELMING and TOTAL.
