While a Chinese feast is great and all, I'd say Mexican, along with French, Italian, German and Japanese and Venezuelan in no particular order. In fact these five nations eat better than anyone else in the world.

Best food title easily goes to Japan.

Japanese BBQ
Yakitori
Ramen
Shabuya
Premium meats such as A5 wagyu, Kobe beef
and of course...SUSHI.

Sure Chinese style hotpot is better than Shabuya. But the Japanese genre of food covers a wide variety of great food. And Chinese BBQ is terrible. Although China is so efficient with their food (they use everything on an animal), stuff like donkey or horse meat, pig brain, and that non liquidy pork blood thing is just not for me...tried it just to try it, and I hated it. Chinese food got that roasted pekking duck though, one of my favorite dishes.

I kind of like the blood. My coworker called it meat tofu.
You want to really be grossed out, I had it in a Vietnamese congee (rice porridge) with kidney, liver, ear, heart, intestine. It was actually really good.

Pig brain was kind of like tofu...I'll have to try pork blood again, I've tried once...maybe twice. I just can't get the thought of what I am actually eating when I try pork blood or pig brain.

Sweet and sour chicken, Bourbon chicken, beef and broccoli, general tso's, etc. aren't actual Chinese food :lol

That's like saying the mac n' cheese pizza from Cici's is Italian food.

After eating a couple authentic places I can't go to Panda Express or other Americanized Chinese places anymore.

I'm looking at Mapo Tofu, chicken/beef spicy hot pot, dan dan noodles.

There were one high-end Chinese restaurant I visited a long time ago that made this dish. It was amazing.

Yo, there's so much Americanized variations of Chinese food out there, deep fried and breaded assortments mostly.

I know it's a main course, but that almost looks like tiramisu, something to abstain from

I'd say Chinese has a lot in common with American cuisine, but German even more so, has a much more profound influence on it.

Chinese food has so many regional variations and you could put most of them at the top. Sichuan has to be the best.
