Detroit tried to trade up for Pippen as Chuck Daly thought Pippen was a superstar in the making.



Can you imagine that scenario had it gone down?




Pippen would have hit his prime as the rest of the Bad Boy's team declined.


Getting Pippen in the 1987 draft might have prolonged Detroit's grip on the east as they would most likely have made it back to the finals in 1991 and perhaps also in 1992'.

Impossible to say. How much of what pip became was a result from learning from mj? And who knows what bulls front office would of done if they never had that second star in pip. Maybe they go out and get another star. Pistons would of been sick though that's for sure
