Looking at his numbers it is surprising how much he has improved as a scorer after the trade.

In his highest scoring year with the Celtics he averaged 15.7 pts per 36. This past season he averaged 21 per 36. His scoring efficiency has gone up a lot as well.

It's an okay pay day. He just had a career year and he's coming into his prime. The team should definitely make the playoffs if they can stay healthy. They would have last year if they did.
