View Full Version : I just realized
Tim Duncan would be 6/6 in the finals if not for that Ray Allen shot
He literally has a top 5 resume of any player ever
Arguably the GOAT peak for a Center (03)
Won 5 championships for a small market franchise, something that no one has ever done, everybody else that has won 5+ championships have done so playing in big market franchises
He never had to collude all of the top players he has played with were all drafted by San Antonio
Why is not talked about in the GOAT conversation more he definitely deserves to be with his resume
He won three more chips than mvp-less kawhit too :lebronamazed:

honestly just because he was drafted to a really good situation hes treated like that. HOF coach, had dave robinson early career, they drafted well and kept him in contention consistently, then they got kawhi in his later years. yes he balled tf out and could play but replace him with KG, dirk or any other great pf from 2000s and im pretty sure the one on the spurs will always have a better career. if timmy was on the t wolves or another poorly run team we dont talk about him like that.

That Ray Allen shot is beautiful.

You could make up scenarios like that for anyone. The fact is Duncan balled out is regarded as a top 10 player ever.
