I don't know what to think about Musk sometimes. What he's accomplished with electric vehicles, autonomous driving, SpaceX, and even Starlink to an extent has been both impressive and significant. But then he has these duds like hyperloop which almost seems like a scam to funnel money into real projects. Creating a super mobile bipedal robot is insanely difficult, Boston Dynamics has taken over 20 years of trial and error to get there. Then Tesla presents a guy in a spandex suit, and says this is what we are going to build in a year. I think Musk is drastically underestimating the challenge in making this a reality. Maybe I'm wrong and he's able to bring in the talent to accomplish this, that could happen I guess. I feel like this is leaning towards scam territory though, I mean to dress a guy up like a robot, that was embarrassing.
