The guy I'm responding to (Seadood) thinks Lebron is better than MJ based on an article and last night's performance.. I responded by saying he (Seadood) wouldn't think that if MJ played today, but after 20 years, he thinks bron is better (because of recency bias, aka Seadood thinks "lebron crushed it last night, so he's better than Lebron").. Those words are what I think Seadood is thinking.

Everyone knew at the time what I meant but after 8 years the translation is misinterpreted..

Kobe didn't do any of those things and was significantly outplayed by Miller, and also outplayed by Iverson.. But it's apples and oranges because the Lakers' toughest series were always the conference finals, and Kobe was the top dog in those series when it was really needed.. Everyone knew that the Finals were against the historically-weak East, so Shaq-ball was sufficient.. But Shaq-ball didn't work against Western foes like say, the Jazz or Spurs - that's when Kobe-ball was needed.. It's similar to Lebron-ball and AD-ball... AD-ball is needed in the real Finals against Denver, while Lebron-ball was sufficient against the bummy Heat/East.. The historical record is clear on this.
