ESPN Sources: Cleveland’s acquiring Chicago’s Lauri Markkanen in three-way sign and trade with Portland. Bulls get Derrick Jones Jr., POR’s lottery protected future 1st and Cavs’ future second-rounder. POR gets Larry Nance Jr.

Imagine drafting Evan Mobley and then burying him behind $167 million of Jarrett Allen and Lauri Markkanen.:oldlol:

Yes, its official everyone!!

He wasn't the best for Chicago the last 2 years, poor on defense, but how will this impact the rookie ?

They should have plenty of flexibility. The thing that got Mobley drafted was his quickness and ability to guard the perimeter. He should be able to play alongside Allen or Markkanen.

Cavs will be the slowest team in the league.

With Kevin Love and Lauri, Cavs are showing they mean business, now starting two of the best PFs in the league.

Imagine a lottery team making moves to get better. What are your Wolves up to?

And it's not like they all have the same skillset and position.

Mobley right now is a power forward, not a center. And in a closing lineup with Markanen as a stretch 4 I have no doubt in my mind that Mobley can play some small forward.

When you are as bad as the Cavs, fit doesn't matter anyway. You accumulate talent and Markanen is clearly a better, more useful player than Nance, especially in today's 3-point era.

I can't imagine Cleveland would be stupid enough to have Mobley come off the bench. Odds are they're going to have Lauri be the sixth man while Jarrett Allen is the starting center and Mobley is the PF. He has the quickness and skillset to play the 4 spot anyways, so that would be the ideal situation for them.

If they decide to have Mobley or Allen be bench players however, then Cleveland has the most idiotic coaching staff in the NBA.

It sucks that cleveland hasn't had a winning game against their arch rivals golden state since when? More than three years ago or so i believe. Even during that pandemic season last year when they were rebuilding following the 2019 finals.
