So the top guys from the 90's destroy today's top guys. Magic is included in the 90's because he was runner-up for MVP in 91' before his career was cut short, and Jordan destroyed him that year.

Kobe/Duncan are excluded because they cross both eras and did less in MJ's era.. Kawhi doesn't move the needle either because he's a Barkley-caliber player that was fortunate to face a perennial Finals loser (Curry Warriors) instead of the Jordan Bulls that Barkley faced.. Ditto Wade vs Drexler... Meanwhile, KG/Dirk and guys like that are easily matched by Robinson/Malone/Ewing, etc.

So there's no talent edge for today's game among the top-tier players, and today's spaced-out format yields 3-point shooters and high-screen-spammming, gather-steppers on all tiers.. Otoh, the unspaced format of previous eras forced contested shots, so everyone developed their own way of making contested shots, even the lower tiers, and therefore a league of indivudually-unique, pure scorers existed.

At this point you can argue what OP does on a regular basis qualifies for a mental illness diagnosis.

PG’s: Today’s game is better than the ‘90s & it’s not even close
SG’s: Better today, aside from Jordan that position was not an elite one
SF’s: Today’s game is better and it’s not even close
PF’s: - This one is close.
Center’: - ‘90s take this one by far
So today’s era has more talent in 3/5 positions while the 4th position is close while 90s take clear advantage in 1/5.

Yeah.. it’s not close today’s era is clearly better. Also Magic played just 2 seasons in the ‘90s. Why are you including him? If you do that then you have to include guys like Kobe and Duncan for the 2010s.

I’m only including talent in their primes or just existing their prime. No nitpicking Kobe, Duncan, Iverson etc. to the 90s.. those are ‘00s players that arrived in the end of the 90s

PG:
Curry, Westbrook, Lillard, Irving, CP3, Rose, Parker, Lowry, Wall

90s: Stockton, Payton, Hardaway, Price, KJ

SG

Kobe, Harden, Wade, Klay, P. George, Beal, Butler, Derozan, Booker, D.Mitchell, CJ McCollum

90s: Jordan, Miller, Drexler, Richmond, Starks, Smith, Dumars

SF

Lebron, Durant, Leonard, Melo

90s: Pippen, Hill, Wilkins, Mullin, Rice

Yeah.. the 2010s is by far are better at 3/5 positions. 90’s is by far better at center and then the PFs are a close call with Nowitzki, Giannis, AD, Bosh, Green, Griffin.

90s: Barkley, Malone, Kemp, Rodman, LJ, Webber

Hell.. I would take Dirk over Barkley, Giannis over Malone, AD over Kemp. So it’s close. Unlike 1-3 positions where today’s talent is clearly by far better to anyone who’s not just blinded by nostalgia.

You seriously believe OP is merely trolling, doing this 35,000 posts in and currently at 26 a day? No fcking way :oldlol: His arguments could be construed as trolling considering how often he contradicts himself and all the stupid shit he says, but no way in hell is his intent with this level of dedication to be a troll

But if you root for jordan tho, you would find yourself agreeing with him on some points. :oldlol:

Anyway, it makes me laugh hard that you're still clueless about his history as a poster.

Jordan won more than Lebron with higher quality rings (no super-teams or 1b's

Jordan has more accolades

Jordan has better production rare, aka stats (PER, BPM, WS/48, VORP, PPG, ORTG)

pippen didn't destroy MVP Malone or Barkley like Kyrie did Curry

BULL RUSSELL won MORE THAN BOTH

BULL RUSSELL won MORE THAN BOTH

all 40 MVP's since 1980 are dominant offensive forces, so we know that Russell wouldn't be MVP-caliber in 3-pointer basketball/modern era.

Accordingly, Jordan's 6 rings as the best player is the best accomplishment in 3-pointer history/modern era.. And the 6 rings were achieved without super-teams or 1b's (best ring quality), aka 6 scoring-champ carry-job rings.

Everyone in history needed a teammate to lead them in scoring for entire playoff runs, while Jordan led his sidekick in scoring for every SERIES by a margin of 10-30 ppg
