I'm rolling with Luka, but Jokic could repeat and Giannis coming off a chip could go super saiyan. All the other top MVP level players ( Lebron, Durant, Harden have other MVP level guys that will cancel out), then you got someone like Kawhi who load manages too much. Portland won't win enough even though Dame will drop his 28-30 again. If Steph plays like he did this year, Klay comes back strong and the Warriors win 55-60 games I give him a puncher's chance.

Just came off the greatest game 7 performance in NBA history, would have won if his team was healthy :facepalm

KD and choke don't go in the same sentence

Beal, Dame, Sabonis and George shouldn't even be on the list, they have no chance. Giannis is the likely frontrunner for now though.

I don’t see you on the other forums really but just a heads up OP is a Nazi who just likes Sabonis because he looks aryan.

George without Kawhi would be my darkhorse pick actually. If Kennard and Mann carry that momentum into next season, it's going to really make him look good.

Tough call. Lakers and nets are too stacked for one guy to stand out. Greek will be in the discussion but winning the last one and some before that will be held against him. That pretty much puts luka, joker and steph as front runners. Out of those three i actually warriors will have the best record so i'll go with steph.

Durant destroyed in the playoffs and Olympics. Looking forward to an injury free finals chase.

Luka.

Jokic and Giannis both got it but are not really that popular, so won't get a lot of hype.

Durant is not liked, despite americans suddenly rallying behind him, because of fear of Luka.

That leaves... Luka, who will likely have another 30-10-10 season and hopefully with an improved KP will get a top 5 rank in the West

I suppose you're right. I have faith they can get a good record for 2-3 months without Kawhi, just not an entire season.

He has never averaged 30 points, or 10 RPG or 10APG in any season he's played with. What do you mean another?

Luka stepping up and becoming the face of the league and champion can certainly happen. He's been choking lately tho :lol

If u wanna look foward to a injury free season you find a team that dosn't have kyrie on it. The chances of him not missing significant time due to a physical or mental issue is slim to none.

I meant injury-free for Durant personally. Kyrie is Kyrie at this point :lol

You know what's crazy? Giannis is +700 to win MVP.

And it's not likely he stays healthy but AD at +2500is worth a few bucks.

lol terrible list. Paul George? Booker? Not even the best players on their teams and Clippers will just be okay without Kawhi. I like Baby Sabas, but Pacers aren't doing anything. Realistically, it's basically an open field I'd say. A good chance Giannis or Jokic can win again for sure, Durant possibly if he can stay healthy, maybe Anthony Davis if he can stay healthy and lakers have a great season. Who really knows.

Durant or Anthony Davis.
