Although people (like me) who have maintained a healthy weight (through hard work) are screwed if the food shortage/price inflation continues. Most will be better off to eat less but some of us will starve to death faster than others.

Assuming Chewing is actually high risk (he's probably not that high risk), the attacks on Chewing would make some sense IF he was advocating forced lockdowns, forced masking, forced school closures, forced travel bans, and forced vaccinations, but I haven't seen him do any of that. In fact, from what I've seen, he's done just the opposite.

And OP is correct: obesity is a huge problem in the US, and it's gotten morbidly worse in recent past...

i lost 30 pounds this past month getting in shape for my ex to do that dna test and i actually like intermittent fasting and might continue doing it regardless now even though the kids not mine. i'm so much more energetic and i never wake up needing antacids or have food comas during the day anymore. my chest and neck pains went away too. i don't get headaches anymore or crave sweets. pizza and burgers actually disgust me now. i threw away a whole pack of bacon that expired during the diet. i don't even care. its literally like meth. once you kick it you look at it with disgust. all i like now is chicken shawarmas, tuna wraps, chicken burritos, rotisseries, indian food, chicken and broccoli with white rice, sushi and bananas/yogurt and nuts to keep my digestion well. i'm not spraying diarrhea all over my toilet seat anymore either. its great
