Obviously the all-time shooter is going to be the better 3rd option. Particularly with the Lebron Heat

Ray Allen. He arguably could of won finals MVP in 2008.

20PPG on 71% TS and led the team in GmSc at 16.7

His GmSc was actually even higher then Kobe those finals.

Ray Allen wasn't really a regular 3rd option. Him and Paul Pierce traded off really when Ray was still Ray like in 08-10. After that he was just old.

Boston Ray's the better player but Bosh was the more steady presence. Ray would have this shooting slumps that could really kill your team in a playoff series. But he'd also have great superstar like games.

Depends on what you like but for a 3rd option I'd choose a more steady presence.
