It just makes too much sense. The Blazers need to upgrade their defense, the Sixers need to upgrade their shooting.

I've been saying that all offseason :lol He could develop into a Dray type role with Lillard

Also replace the passing while adding the shooting, so Brogdon for Simmons it is.

Has a deal like this been offered?

The only person on the Blazers the 76ers want right now is Lillard. Unless Portland has other intriguing pieces to add to the trade, there's no way Philly trades Simmons to the Blazers in a deal centered around CJ.

Honestly I feel like the Sixers would be lucky to not have to be the ones to add a fluff piece at this point with the way Simmons trade value has been plummeting lately with him looking so scared to take a shot in the playoffs, and also especially since Simmons is the one who requested a trade putting the Sixers in the more stressful position. I feel like a straight up swap of players would be fair at the moment.

Oh it absolutely would be, and the 76ers would be lucky to just get that tbh. But they're too stupid to understand that.

I'll be honest I haven't seen a lot of 76er games but I'm pretty sure I have never seen Philly use Simmons in this way and in no way have I seen Simmons being even capable of running a half court set like Draymond.
Open court, run and gun... different animal... half court with a set defense... never

That's a good proposition. Mccollums only strength is his dribble based offensive game, but if you look at how he has shot in the playoffs its always been terrible. But people still see him as borderline all star and Simmons value is at all time low. Despite the fact that his defense would help so much on the blazers who have lacked in that area big time.

Well they'd have to be crazy to think Simmons is worth dame. Cj and Simmons are actually comparable. Throw in a pick and it should be a no brainer for both sides.

I actually think that Simmons level is between Lillard's and McCollum. His trade value is in the middle.

I'm not sure it makes the blazers better unless you think that playing alongside dame unlocks something Ben hasn't show yet. For his well documented defensive shortcomings, the blazers have always been a better team when cj is on the floor.
Morey doesn’t want CJ. That report has been put out awhile ago.

Morey doesn’t want CJ. That report has been put out awhile ago.I don't get why people think Morey is going to sell Simmons while his value is at an all-time low. Simmons' value is whatever the 1 highest bidding gm is willing to give, not what 29 other gm's think he's worth.
