Happy birthday!

If there was anything i wished someone would have told me at your age, it would be that life didn't end at 30. In fact, I had way more fun in my 30's than my 20's. You have a lot to look forward to

Forreal?

I've enjoyed my 30s dont get me wrong, but absolute peak was most def. my college and graduate years. Here I am now dealing with maintaining a home, lawn and a kid on the way. I'm not complaining, but life was much simpler in my 20s.
Yeah, just in terms of fun college is for sure the peak for that. Surrounded by thousands of people your age, living within walking distance of your friends, the opportunity to meet lots of girls, most of whom are single, and very little responsibility outside of completing your schoolwork. I'm not going to say life ends at 30, but that's around the time a lot of your friends go down the marriage and children road, making it a lot more difficult to see them, or they move somewhere else altogether.

What happened to rawimpact's post?

I didn't go college like either of you guys. Well, I took esl classes at community college in my 30's to finally learn how to read, write and do my own paperwork without the assistance of my little brother. That's not the same thing though. 30 is when the world opened up to me because I could afford to travel. My 20's were working a lot of hard labor jobs and partying. Soubeachtalents is right about friends fading away starting their own lives. Making the feeling worse is how much harder it gets to meet new people each year i get older. That part was a big adjustment

Happy birthday man. 28-30 are some of the absolute prime years of a man's life.
