Too old, led by divas, both will get injured.

This race to stack the most old geezers is a bad move. It doesn't work, never worked.

Roster spots 7-10 should be used on young players who can bring crazy effort, not old timers who wants to conserve energy.

Depends on if they stay healthy. If both teams stay healthy they should meet in the finals. This may be there last year though. Age is gonna catch up to both teams sooner than later

I don't see how it will work.

How are these alpha dogs on their last legs going to adjust to each other in one season, probably sitting out a bunch of games?

I expect it to look like CP3/Harden, except Bron and Westbrook are not good floor spacers, so they won't play too much at the same time.

Yeah there's gonna be an adjustment period but they should figure it out. If it was just bron and westbrook i'd say it be similar to westbrook and harden but they do have davis also and harden ain't bron.

As far as westbrook and bron playing similar styles it's a good point but it can work. It worked pretty good in houston with harden and paul who were both ball dominators. They had one of the best teams ever beat if not for cp getting hurt.

Time will tell i guess. I feel like injuries are gonna be an issue again for both teams so you may end up being right.

Harden & CP3 are a much better fit than LeBron/Westbrook. Both those guys while ball dominant could shoot and space the floor significantly better than LeBron & Westbrook. And 2018 CP3 even past his prime blows away current Westbrook

I don't disagree but what about davis? Harden and cp3 are greater that bron and westbrook but are they better than bron and davis? I'd say not. Westbrook is just a bonus.

Tbh, I still need to see what version of LeBron we get. If it's the pre injury version, he & AD will make the Lakers a formidable squad. If it's the post injury one, where he legitimately looked like a shell of himself from the play in game through the playoffs, the Lakers can still contend but their chances would drop pretty significantly. Injuries will determine the fate of both these teams more than they usually would, Clippers too with the status of Kawhi.

Do you think Westbrook wants to be "just a bonus"?

Yeah forsure. Brons health is a huge factor as is davis. If bron is healthy and still moving like a 20 year old it's on. If he's not healthy or moving his age it's a different story.

No but that's just my way of explaining it. I'm sure bron will take a step back and make him feel as needed as himself and davis. At least for the reg season anyway. He'll take a step back to start the post season also but if westbrook acts up bron will cut that shit off quick.

For La your criticisms are somewhat valid but how is kd on his last legs lol. Also many other past champions were veteran heavy off the bench, those guys are more reliable in the playoffs. Finally I ask who are your finals teams again. West is weaker this year because of the Kawhi and Murray injuries or yes I agree clips and nuggets have serious chances vs la. Think only utah and phx will offer serious competition this year and they’re great teams but la is more talented than both.

Mil ofc is a legit contender but I like most people would favor bkn. Miami looks really good on paper but idk about anyone else(Philly is a mess with Simmons)

For the East, I'm not going to bet against the champs. That's going to be big time for Milwaukee and honestly Giannis will probably have a career season because of experience.

For the West, I see Nuggets, Clips or Mavs. I could see Mavs if Zingis makes even 80% recovery of his bubble season.

AD can barely stay healthy as a power forward and now they want to move him to the center position. Sounds like a recipe for disaster.

It should be an interesting season with players returning from injury. Warriors big three reunited. JMurrary back with the Nuggs, I really felt like they had a legit chance at the finals before his injury.
