No one has answered my other posts about how the U.S can catch up with China - especially since Covid.
See gdp numbers and tech expertise.

Not important because nothing important will change.
The public gets funneled into two barely divergent "candidates," then everyone settles for one and feels obligated to defend them. They then seek out media that agrees, and end up adopting unrelated positions. The two party system is a highly effective way to control the dialectic.
For example, just look at the recent 2020 Presidential election. No major policy changes. Biden simply continued Trump's withdrawal of Afghanistan, Trump's National State of Emergency & Trump's War on Covid-19. Even things that he pretended to be against, such as Trump's "racist and xenophobic" travel bans, were continued (and even built upon) by Biden.

Thanks but this seems an oversimplification. Democrats have passed enormous stimulus bills since being in power and are pushing climate change agenda just off the top of my head...

the dems passed a single stimulus bill amounting to $1.9 trillion. the previous administration passed two of them, of which the first bill alone amounted to $2 trillion.
climate change? yeah, that's a consistent democratic talking point. yet i haven't heard anything from biden or the dems about it since he took office. it's been covid, trump, covid, trump and now afghanistan. where exactly is the climate change push?
don't let the partisan culture war give you brain worms, aussie. it clouds your thinking and keeps you on a leash.
anyway, the midterms are important because in this case, if the senate swings back to the gop, it will completely tank biden's agenda going forward. no more reconciliation bills, and mcconnell will be back in power serving as that brick wall against the democrats. as of right now, the dems are probably screwed in that regard. dems will probably keep the house... which doesn't mean much.

Democrats should push bills for things like pot legalization and climate change right now just in case if senate goes back to the Republicans again. They will resist everything no matter what it is. Democrats should also push to make Washington DC & Puerto Rico a state to add more delegates - it just requires a normal majority in both houses of congress.
What the hell happened to expanding Medicare and the public option that Biden was talking about? That can only pass under democrats control of congress and never republican. Unfortunately no word from Biden administration to push something like that. All of these candidates talk about it, but it is always all talk. Trump did the same. Talked about it and then nothing.

Republicans taking back the House and Senate means little if those Republicans are Rinos and establishment turds. What's needed is people with America-first policies.

Why would the demons actually pass any of that? Without those talking points how can they trick idiots like u to voting for them
