Hard to say. They definitely win in 96. Rod was getting worked by kemp that series. Grant couldn't have done worse defensively and he would of gave a added punch offensively.

97 and 98 against the jazz is a different story. There were some key close games where rod made a difference defensively against malone where i don't know if grant would of done the same. Hard to say.

Kukoc was the starting PF in the 98' Playoffs, while Rodman averaged 4/8 for the entire 97' Playoffs, so the Bulls won those titles IN SPITE of rodman.

Horace destroys the 36-year old Rodman that joined the Bulls.

Not a chance. Rodman snatched Finals MVP votes from the 72 win MJ

Rodman wasn't the starter in the 98' Playoffs, and he averaged 4/8 for the entire 97' Playoffs - so he wasn't needed and the Bulls won in spite of him...

Accordingly, Horace would easily 3-peat those years with MJ

Yet Rodman still got FMVP votes. :oldlol:

Pretty easily. It’s been completely overexaggerated how great Rodman was during those years especially the last 2 years.

Wasn't Horace a much better shotblocker and offensive player?

I think people get hung up on the idea that Rodman's defense and rebounding was absolutely necessary.

I don't think that's the case. If Horace played, it would free up some energy for MJ and Pippen on the defensive end.

I vehemently disagree. Rodman was a menace in the 96 Finals and really should've won Finals MVP.

He was underwhelming in 97.

He shut down Malone in 4 of the 6 games played in 98

It should be noted that Malone finished 2nd to MJ in scoring 5 times, won 2 MVPs, and finished 2nd in MVP voting a couple other times. What Rodman did to Malone in 98 was amazing!!!!

To answer the question with regards to Grant? I think the Bulls win 2, but they definitely don't set the at the time record for all time wins.
