AD is a superstar and you could argue Kyrie was a superstar as well in 2016 and 2017.

Bird-fed players like AD can't be superstars

Pippen was more of a superstar than AD since Pippen could create his own looks and run an offense, 2 things AD cant do

Lebron never got to round 2 out west without AD while AD did without Lebron.

Lebron has never played with a superstar. He has too much integrity and competitveness for something like that...

How many West teams in what, the last decade... have got to Round 2 without a second all-star on their team?

AD yes. But Kyrie has never been a superstar. He’s a phenomenal player in the finals alongside lebron, but the Celtics showed us that Kyrie is best as a 2nd option
