Oh wait.. He lost 3 times in a row as the favorite from 2009-2011, so I guess it was a "fool me once" type of thing.

Why did LeBron double Kobe’s FMVP total?

The honest answer is because like his fans now the experts, media vegas weren't confident in his ability to win.

He's always the underdog even with superteams

His teammates reputation gets destroyed to build a narrative that LeBron never played with great teammates

Even going into this year they're trying to downplay how stacked this Lakers team is

Because he went up against 3 MVPs - Durant, Westbrook, and Harden and beat them.

Did Jordan ever beat 3 MVP players on the same team?

No.

Because his teammates were all trashcans. I mean, Chris bosh, seriously? That guy is just kyle lowry-level.

Or maybe it's because he lost the finals the year before to a team that only had one star with the second best player being a basic roll player. Brons final play didn't inspire alot of confidence in his ability to win at the time

OKC ran a train on the might West :(

Swept Kobe 4-0
Raped Dirk 4-1
Slapped Duncan 4-2

OKC was 12-3 heading to the Finals with only three losses in three series against ALL three legends (Dirk, Kobe, Duncan) and LeBron had to beat them FOUR times in 1 series? How did he do it?

Thread Cliffs:

Durant / Westbrook / Harden all on 1 team. All 3 players would win MVPs.

Bron took them out.

Wrong.

This was the reason why OKC was so highly rated:

The 20-0 win streak Spurs got smashed 4 games in a row to a "bunch of kids".

You guys don't win arguments against me.

You just started watching basketball a few years ago.

I know my shit. There no idiotic narrative / statement you say that actually has a hold over me.

Nobody's denying that they were a great team

But you can't say they had 3 MVPs when Harden and Westbrook weren't close to MVP caliber in 2012.

So it had nothing to do with OKC sweeping the defending champs, beating LA 4-1, beating SA 4-2 or Bosh coming off of injury missing 9 consecutive games between during the ECSF and ECF?

Nah that definitely played a roll also but to act like bron not winning a chip and struggling the year before not playing a role is just dumb.
