Simple. Counties that have the right mentality like China (nationalistic and jingoistic) move up in the rankings. Counties like the US and other western nations that have lost that mentality go what's referred to as a "downward turn". If we had America-first people in positions of power, it wouldn't be happening.

But it's Trumps fault. Because like with Afghanistan, Trump signed a conditions based deal with the Taliban, that Biden completely did not followed. 13 service members died (plus almost 200 civilians) strictly because of the idiotic decisions Biden made, but Trump signed a deal so it's his fault.

That truly is the logic of many.

It produces the entertainment you consume, the devices you use, the culture of the country, and the food you eat.
It is the largest economy in the country (by far), 5th largest in the world, and does so with a democratic government.
