Playing passing lanes doesnt equal good defense just like getting blocks for bigs. Hate reading how someone is good at D because they get some steals by constant gambling, cause if u mess it up, its suddenly man advantage for the other team with u behind trying to recover.

No, playing passing lanes does push you from a good defender to a great... Some ppl are good at it (anthony davis) and some people swing for a home run every play and whiff n give up constant easy scores (lonzo ball)

its levels to this just like its levels to shot blocking....some people jump at anything (javale mcgee) and some people actually have a brain ( joel embiid)..... they are both shot blockers though


Just like its levels to scoring....some chuck so much they hit 30 (iverson) and some do it efficiently (jordan).....its levels to everything...both are elite scorers
