Kobe played a large portion of his career in a different era with much more physical defense. When you look at when he was in his prime and when the league underwent defensive rule changes to open up the game, especially on the perimeter….Kobe’s stats are about as good as any’s

Can't compare mostly transition and garbage time points. Kobe's scoring was not like lebron's cowardly scoring. Lakers could've used some of that Kobe scoring during the 2019 season and last year's series vs Suns. He just dipped instead.
