Everyone was initially appalled when Lebron teamed up with Wade, but the media eventually decided that they couldn't hurt ratings by knocking the face of the league, so they went along with it.

They went along with it by lying to support the move.. So for example - it's been reported that every decent team that ever existed was infact a super-team... Horace Grant was infact a star... And Pippen averaged twice as many assists as Jordan while leading the Bulls in assists for every title run.

Just lies.. Blatant lies and low character. The media simply lacked the integrity to call out Lebron for ruining the competitive balance and cheating his peers - only KD was man enough to step up and give Lebron some of his own medicine.. Yet the media misreports it like Lebron was the victim of KD's collusion, when the entire league was a victim of Lebron's super-teams from 2011-2016.. He hand-picked the preseason favorite each of those years.. Lebron teamed up with the Kobe-Pau sequel (Wade/Bosh)..

1-star teams like Dwight and Lebron were winning the East without super-teams, so of course they will win the conference every year if they team up with Wade/Bosh.. Yet the media lauds his Finals streak and pretends it's better to mostly lose the Finals with a super-team than always win without one.

Paul Pierce explicitly stated that one of the reasons he hated working at ESPN was they force everybody to talk about lebron. (only positively of course) They're literally just a propaganda outfit. Nothing more.
