Wilt Chamberlain had a total of 38 50 point games with an FG% of 50+, during the 1961-1962 NBA Season alone.

To put that into perspective Wilt has more 50 point games with an FG% of 50+, during the 1961-1962 NBA Season alone.

then every other player in NBA history has 50 point games in their career.

Most 50-Point Games in a players career

Wilt Chamberlain 118

Michael Jordan 31

Kobe Bryant 25

James Harden 23

Only six players have scored 60 or more points on more than one occasion:

Wilt Chamberlain (32 times)

Kobe Bryant (6 times)

Michael Jordan (5 times)

Elgin Baylor (4 times)

James Harden (4 times)

Damian Lillard (3 times).

A 70-point game is a rarity. Only six players in the history of the league have scored 70 points or more, with Wilt Chamberlain accounting for six of the 11 total scoring outbursts.

It would not be surprising to hear that dominant center and NBA legend Wilt Chamberlain holds the record for most 40-point games, with a whopping 271 of them.

The question I ask to the people on this site is why there isn’t much discussion about Wilt during GOAT conversations?

The answer is that his accomplishments and records are so otherworldly alien-like that it would really be disrespectful to other greats if he were.

It’s almost to the point that you are forced to ignore him to have a good discourse about the greats of the game.

My personal favourite stat of Wilt's.

Is most 30-30 games in NBA history

Wilt Chamberlain: 128

Bill Russell: 3

He just needs to give Lebron that 7th finals loss this upcoming season and he temporarily becomes my favorite all-time shooting guard.
