Of course the tune changed once he retired, that tends to happen with all time greats and the same will happen with LeBron once he retires. If we're being honest bron is very close to mj in popularity. He has a bit more Google searches. Bron is number 1 and mj number 2. They both get a shit ton of searches. On the other hand mj sells alot more shoes and merch. I think it's to close to call at the moment. Bron is still very relevant because he's still playing. Once he retires and he loses some of that and mj will probably be a bit more popular. Brons clothes and kicks aren't desirable enough to keep him relevant after basketball as much as mj was.
