Interesting. Do you guys think AD deserves it?

Also, they have Durant at #1.

Anthony Davis should be closer to 1 than he is to 10.

Also Steph Curry is the best player in the league.

KD and Giannis are a tier above everyone else :applause:

AD way too low, sure LeBron had a role in his low ranking

Both assertions are rationale of the player in question is healthy. In fact healthy AD is top 5.

Yes and no. When healthy he absolutely is. Problem is he's always hurt so it's tough to say.

I don’t think there’s any doubt he’s top 10 when he’s 100%

Don't know if it makes a difference, but the link is to the Canadian NBA.com.

Is there a U.S version to compare lists?

Against any big man in the league, AD has a good chance of being the best player on the court. Even Giannis. One injured post season and yall forget. Healthy AD is an all time great, MVP level player.

Please enlighten me as to what the painfully obvious agenda of this thread is, because I started the thread, and apparently my "agenda" isn't obvious to me. I thought it was a pretty cut and dry topic. Davis wasn't in the top 10 before, and now he's bumped up in ranking from 12 to 10.

I agree! Skill wise on both sides of the rock, AD is a top 3 PF of all time. Him, KG, and Duncan. So even though he wasn't healthy this year IN GENERAL he's strong in the prime of his career. And like others have said when healthy, he's a top 5 player in the world type. IF the Lakers run into the Bucks or Nets in the Finals, AD is THE PERFECT PLAYER in the league to counteract Giannis and KD. AD is the CLOSEST we've seen to a blend of KG and Duncan. Athletic ability and positional versatility similar to KG. Interior dominance in the PF-C vein like Timmy!

AD is top 10 when healthy for sure but I’m not quite sure of top 5. Durant giannis lebron curry harden is just a top 5 of all time greats still in their primes besides maybe lebron but I don’t want to give up on him yet. This is not to mention luka emerging or two mvp level guys last year in jokic/embiid

Im so nba'd out

Kawhi >
Harden >
LeBron >
KD >
Steph >

thats 5 easy without much thought and i could keep going....easily

DoctorP

It should be LeBron at 6th, Davis 5th

Accounting for injuries:

LeBron 9th
Davis 10th

You are ascribing to the stupid logic that puts all winning and losing in a team game to one player so its no wonder that you don't put much thought in. Talking about how he didn't make the playoffs without post-acl Rondo is almost as stupid as talking about how Kobe never won a ring without Derek Fisher. AD is one of the best scorers in the league and one of the best defenders as well. Also a force on the glass. That's why James had the Lakers ship off all their young talent for him. Guy made All NBA first team 4 times. You making a post like this doesn't hurt his rep it just exposes your own stupidity.

Healthy Davis is easily top 10 and has a very good argument for top 5.

The injured af AD from last season was not top 10.

Curry was best player in RS last year.

Giannis was best in playoffs.

How did they come up with #1 for Durant?

Can I just not see Kawhi Leonard in that top30, am I blind? What?

LeBron prior to the intentional Solomon Hill injury: #1
After the injury, he was obviously not the same player. He tried to come back once, but then had to sit out games again. He was clearly not himself late in the season and the playoffs. It remains to be seen whether Solomon Hill's intentional injury has permanently ruined him.

But based on last season, #10 is very generous for Anthony Davis. In the games he played he was TERRIBLE.

I wouldn't argue him being outside of the top 30 myself but the amount of games he misses hurts. I seriously would not have handed him that extension.

Wouldn't be surprised if AD wins MVP this year and DPOY

PG and Beal played their best seasons next to Westbrook.

As long as he's healthy AD is unstoppable and easily the best player in the Western conference

Morant but no Fox? Once again proving analyst highly value team accomplishments/construction over individual performance even when evaluating players…wait for it…individually
