Who wins in a seven game series?
The 1988 squad seems to have a better "fitting" team while the 2003 team has a massive size advantage in the front court.

Why the 2003 team? That's such a random one to choose if you're comparing it with one of the most stacked all NBA teams ever put together. I would say a better team to match up 88 with would be the 08 one.

Paul vs Magic. Kobe vs Jordan. LeBron vs Bird. Garnett vs Barkley (especially this one, holy **** would that be entertaining). Howard vs Hakeem. This just feels like a much better match up and more position based.

Wasn't my idea. Pulled it from this site (https://fadeawayworld.net/nba/1988-all-nba-first-team-vs-2003-all-nba-first-team-which-superstar-lineup-wins-a-7-game-series?fbclid=IwAR3atFQ6TeQNDgnnxBoT4n-f9XtSeaVVHCDz5inuCiZjiwF3mkl6T4kzUqo).

I go with 1988. They have 3 out of 5 of the best players of the group in bird, jordan, Hakeem and the other being shaq/kobe.
The 2010s all 1st team would be the goat I think
Stephen curry
James harden
Kawhi Leonard
LeBron James
Giannis

Honestly, I think I'd go with the '09 team over that one

How cute that you slipped Kahwit in there over KD. Not gonna waste my time arguing with whatever stupid shit you say in reply, because you know somewhere in the back of your retarded little mind that if an official all decade list was put together, Lebron and KD are the forwards.

NBA.com did have an all decade team for 2010's and it was LeBron, curry, harden, kawhi, Durant.
I replaced Durant with giannis.
You have a bigger losing streak to me then luka does to kawhi.

I'm a position based fella so I like the idea of having Paul play at the PG rather than Wade, even though he was capable of doing it. But I do agree that from a talent standpoint, the 09 class is better.

We are talking about individual year classes. The fact that you chose to mention an all decade team just so you could point out that Kawhi is on it is pretty pathetic.

So you show me a list that has Lebron and KD are on there:applause: . 6-22 made the list because no center has been good enough over the course of the decade, so they went with 3 forwards.

No legitimate basketball media site is going to pick Kawhi over KD if they decided to go with a center like above.

2003 wins...88 team doesn't have enough scoring. Jordan and Barkley are the best scorers, 2003 mature O'neal shuts down 88 Oljawon. 2003 was a stronger mature Shaq and not the same 96 Shaq that Oljawon faced.

1988 was Bird's scoring peak. He averaged 30ppg on 52.7fg%. His scoring dropped to 24.5ppg in the playoffs, but having him as a 2nd or 3rd scorer is way more than sufficient. With that being said, I do lean towards the 2003 team.

1988. I just can't see a team with Magic/Bird/Jordan losing. Period

op - hope you realize Larry Bird was 6'10"
KG was 6'11"
Shaq was a load , Akeem would have his hands full...
Barkley would have his hands full with fundamental.
