The league and the players union — the NBPA — are reportedly still in talks regarding COVID-19 protocols for the season, but the NBPA is not willing to entertain the idea of a vaccine mandate for players. A mandate is a "non-starter," according to ESPN.

But the Nets, Knicks and Warriors players still must be vaccinated if they want to play at home since these organizations require all employees be vaccinated.

I believe teams can also ban unvaccinated players from playing in their arena. If true this could get messy. Imagine a Nets Lakers finals where James can't play in Brooklyn. Crap way to end one of his last real chances to win a ring as his team's best player.

They haven't yet. As it is Lebron can still play in Brooklyn but Kyrie and Harden can't if they aren't. It would be funny if the Nets fall apart because Kyrie refuses to be vaccinated :lol

Of course you can fake it. My friend says at his construction union they hand out fake vaccine passports. He says he has like 3 or 4 of them :lol

Yes he is vaccinated.

So far he hasn't said if he got vaccinated. Which means he most likely did not and just doesn't want the backlash.

Didn't Schroeder tell the media at one point that he and Lebron were the only Lakers not vaccinated?

I think it was before the playoffs so obv his status could have changed in the last few months. But LeSocialJustice clearly wasn't in a rush to get the Establishment Jab.

Yeah, LeBron sure runs the NBA and gets his will every time.
Especially prior to last season when he desperately wanted Silver and the NBA to extend the offseason rest period and not start the season in december 2020, which was the shortest rest period for any of the 4 major leagues in US sports history by a huge margin:

Yeah, that sure showed the might LeBron has over the NBA.
