View Full Version : Why everyone think Lebron's assists are worth more than Westbrook's or other PG's

Everyone says he's a better passer despite less APG and despite being a losing bum before the "decision", just like Westbrook, Iverson or Kidd (fellow ball-dominators with 1 Finals appearance), or other losers like CP3 or Nash - Lebron's resume was similar to theirs before the "decision".

So I see no evidence that Lebron is a better passer than any decent point guard.. He's just bigger and has super-teams - so his passing results in the occasional title and therefore is regarded as "smarter" than other PG's who are actually better passers

It’s funny how Kobe is literally only known for his scoring but Lebron is not only a superior scorer in PPG but quality as well :lol he leads Kobe in efficiency everywhere on the court

Kobe is such a loser

1994 Pippen vs 2020 Kawhi:

#8 in PPG vs #8 in PPG
#22 in RPG vs #32 in RPG
#19 in APG vs #36 in APG
#2 in SPG (0.1 less than #1) vs #6 in SPG
#43 in BPG vs #77 in BPG

1994 bulls pace: 3rd slowest in the league
2020 clippers pace: 8th fastest in the league

Jordan is inferior to lebron as a basketball player because Jordan has kyrie irving levels of passing.

The world has already decided bron is vastly superior to jordan passing wise. 10000 3ball threads wont change that :oldlol:

The end.

He doesn’t actually care about Jordan. Hit him on LeBron being better than Kobe that’s what makes him most mad

Post Durant, Westbrook has never led a top 5 offense. In fact the average offense OKC had was around 13. Conversely, LeBron led teams have always generated top 5 offenses. Miami & Cleveland on average rated around number 3.

This is why numbers need context - and also why the comparison is a superficial one. LeBron is a better decision maker and reads defenses better. The turnover ratio should have at least gave you a hint.

the Lakers teams with LeBron have ranked 22nd,11th and 24th offensively the last time LeBron has lead a top 5 offense was with the Cavs in 2018

To be fair to Westbrook his supporting cast in 2017 was god awful, the other years when he had PG next to him OKC ranked top 10 in offense

LeBron is still the better overall playmaker though

That's true, but to be fair, I don't think LeBron's been in his prime with the Lakers. I would also argue (and have in the past) that AD has just as much impact. With defense? Maybe even more. :confusedshrug: You make a valid point regarding Westbrook's help. Though LeBron's in 18 was no picnic either. He carried that team on his back. Offensively, 2018 might've been his best postseason run.
