He’s going to go off. He’s going to get paid. Easily 6 man of the year

What do you mean by IT type of year? He's.... he's not that type of player. He's going to be like the 4th-5th scoring option.

He will be outplaying smart by November lol. He’s the 3rd option. Be real

Which IT are we talking about here? But Shroeder is the epitome of a me first player who doesn't care about winning.

You act like he’s not capable of playing team ball. He had a 60 win team in Atlanta

During his second year, in which he played under 20 minutes a game.

If he stays at that level, then he won't be a detriment to the team. Asking him to play 30+ minutes, and your team will not be a winning basketball team.

Superstar Schroeder will carry them to a 65-17 record while averaging 30pts on 55% fg%, 42% from 3pt line, 92% for ft%, and prime Gary Payton defense. Finals are within reach for the Celtics. How about that, OP? Have the courage of conviction and go all out.

Isaiah seemed like a cancer after Boston. About the only logical comparison I can see here.

Meaning like Isaiah's 2019 season?

Schroeder is underrated at this point. Can't believe Miami didn't pick him up to back up Lowry.

Dude is going to be playing extra desperate. The only way he can make an impact is with his scoring, so he will be jacking up shots Tatum and Brown could've taken instead every time he's on the court. That is if he manages to get Marcus Smart's starting spot, which he probably won't.
It's a recipe bound for disaster. Everyone, including everyone on the Celtics, knows that he will be playing 100% for himself and 0% for the team.

Celtics desperately needed a pg so they only got him because they are desperate too. It's a match made in heaven :oldlol:

They need a pass-first point guard. Not a chucking one/shooting guard in a point guard's body. Tatum and Brown will get pissed with some of the shots he will be taking.

Schroeder is literally incapable of doing what Isaiah Thomas did (it doesn’t matter which I. Thomas you mean, he’s incapable of replicating what either did in their primes)

A lot of you are incapable of understanding the concept of "ok." Shroeder is not a great player. That doesn't mean that he's a bad player. He can score and teams can normally use a guy that can score in some capacity. If he can get 14+ points off the bench that's probably the best case scenario for him and the Celtics (Smart is currently the projected starter). He's never been an all-star so don't expect an all-star but the 14/5 he is averaging over his career is indicative of a solid contributor. Not great but not bad.

Side note: I am still holding out how that Pritchard energetic as a reliable player...but that would most likely mean things go bad with Schroder.
