They would fall under musicians. I can't exclude people like Beethoven - I made a mistake writing 'singers' instead of 'musicians'. I can't edit it now

Wtf. Even with the new wording it's hard to gauge what exactly you want. Sick of listening to 1,200 songs, but your top 30ish contains the Beatles, Beethoven and One Direction. That's ok - kinda- but only scratching the surface and any of those "genres" could be explored by yourself. Also what are your favourite Beatles songs? "I wanna hold your hand" is a whole different musical style than "I am the walrus".

Whatever my 10 favourite musicians/bands/singers rn are:

Stones, Queen, Beatles, Bowie, Opeth, ACDC, Aerosmith, Slayer, Led Zeppelin and Motörhead.

If you want recommendations rather ask for those than top 10 lists.

I'm not really differentiating by genre - I don't listen to hard rock personally, but it's fine. Just list your favorite 10. We've now three pages of confusion. They are music artists (bands + solo). I would then make a point of requesting the inclusion of classical composers (personally, I exclude them). Musician, to me, has a narrower definition.
