During the 1993 series MJ shot a putrid 40% but his #2, #3, and #4 option all shot +50%.

MJ tried to quit even earlier than '94 when he shot the Bulls out of the game in 1993 game 3, Bulls were down 0-2 in the series (3/18 :oldlol) but Pippen shot 80% and kept the Bulls series hopes alive.

Game 3 was a blowout that was over after the 1st quarter where Jordan had 8 points and 6 assists compared to Pippen's 6 points and 0 assists - everything else was garbage time.. Then Jordan dropped 54 in Game 4 to permanently change the series (the Knicks had to double MJ in future games, which effectively ended the series).

Ultimately, Jordan averaged 10+ more than his sidekick (carry-job) with more assists too.. So Jordan never lost a series due to poor efficiency like Lebron did in the 07' Finals, 08' ECSF, and 15' Finals.

Go watch the 1st quarter of Game 3 - the knicks packed it in and got ready for Game 4.. Jordan destroyed them in that quarter for 8 points and 6 assists, compared to Pippen's 6 points and 0 assists.. It was all garbage time and bench clearing after that

On no planet is the 2nd quarter garbage time in a playoff game. Yeah, with a chance to take a 3-0 lead the Knicks gave up trailing by 11 after the 1st. Absolute clown :oldlol:

Yea I cringed reading that. :lol

Anyways in Game 3, Pippen was the player of the game and saved the Bulls. There is nothing wrong in admitting that 3ball.

As for the whole series Jordan still had a series of 32.2/6.2/7.0 on 52.2 %TS (-1.4 rTS) and 2.3 topg and also played pretty good defense himself. Note the very low turnovers by MJ. The Knicks were also a ridiculous defense with a rDRtg of -8.3.

A great player struggled shooting the ball against a defensive minded team.

More Earth shattering news @ 11.

This is why I wish 3ball would just shut up. He doesn't realize what he saying with these stupid comments like the one he made in this thread. If the Knicks truly gave up after 1 quarter, what does that say for the Bulls dynasty seeing as how the Knicks were their biggest competition.

Yet that's exactly what happened - the Knicks never got any closer after their 1st quarter double-digit deficit - Jordan won the game in the 1st and the Knicks never got any closer.

It's immature to deny the facts

You should know that it's common for teams to give up Game 3 on the road when they're already up 2-0 as an underdog - they know they ain't beating the champs in Chicago in Game 3 dumbass..... it's STANDARD and everyone knew it was a giveaway game for the Knicks.
