Kobe never quit his team because of mental fatigue, only when his body was finished. Kobe and Shaq didn’t retire after the 3 peat.

He was mentally tougher.

Jordan was right saying some of his own fanbase didn't like Kobe due to molding his own game after himself.

Do you think he QUIT, or was SUSPENDED?

the suspended part is something we'll never know, but it's highly doubtful. Jordan was creating the league so much money, for stern to suspend him would have the owners ready to suspend stern. Highly doubt it

If it had gotten out that he had bet on BBall, that would have hurt the league as well.
None the less, I’ll take that as your vote that Jordan was a quitter.

Jordan on 1993 retirement:

Physically I was exhausted, but mentally I was way past exhausted," he said, per ESPN's Rachel Nichols.

I didn't see Kobe or Shaq say that after 2002. Kobe would never utter those words and retire.

“Physically I was exhausted, but mentally I was way past exhausted." - MJ Episode 6 of The Last Dance explaining why he retired in 93

"I’m so tried that even when it comes time to push myself, I feel the tiredness. … Rest isn’t the answer. What I need to do is get away from basketball on the days between the games. That’s why I’ve been going out and playing golf. … On the golf course I can think about something other than basketball. It’s the only way I know of that I can get rid of the mental part of the tiredness. I just want to get my concentration up and get this over and done with." - MJ after 1992 Finals

In fact his father is one of the main reasons he didn't retire in 92.

Do you think he QUIT, or was SUSPENDED?He quit. Jordan's delusional self-confidence can go both ways. In basketball he feels like he can be the best player whenever he steps onto the court(and he's right for the most part). But at the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if he legit thought he can just walk into a sport he hasn't played for 15+ years and automatically dominate at a pro level.

Basketball isn't MMA...how is someone "tougher" then another person?

Red herring. The league didn't want to report about his gambling antics that indirectly led to his suspension because it would hurt the ratings and since he was their cash cow back then, they had to disclose it merely as 'retirement'.

I don't know about that.

I don't see Jordan rolling over for teams like Kobe did in 2011\12 or embarrassing himself like he did in the 2004 finals.

jordan retired in 98 cause his coach was fired and he had a cut on his finger

jordan was kind of like lebron in the way he avoided rebuilds. kobe took those challenges head on twice

and when jordan had injuries like kobes knee from 2011 he sat out the entire season. kobe just wore a knee brace and toughed it out
