For the second time in as many weeks, the Phoenix Mercury will be displaced and without its home-court advantage while hosting a high-stakes playoff game.

There’s another 2 shows this weekend, so Mercury will be kicked off this Sunday again.

Why keep this charade going? They lose 10mil annually and the league obviously isn’t run with any respect.

Taking my daughter this weekend, I’ll let you guys know how Disney on Ice is.

Disney on Ice > WNBA

I mean Disney television contracts do pay a big share of NBA revenue, which is what subsidizes the WNBA. Makes sense to give Disney the prerogative to boot these gals off the court when necessary.

Downtown turns into a nightmare during the playoffs. I remember taking an Uber to one of the games and I got off like 2 blocks away because the traffic was horrible. Experience is worth it tho. Rode with my brother on the way out and it took us 45 minutes to get out of the parking garage.

Another skating show called Ice Follies once kicked GSW off homecourt for an entire NBA Finals series.

For the first time in decades, I checked out some of the playoff game on TV because it was on as soon as I flipped on the tele and I saw there was one minute left, tie ball game so I said, "wtf, I love ball so much I'll stick it out since it's tied."

It ended up going to double OT, so I committed to finishing it. To push myself, mentally. To test my sheer will and toughness.

There were about 4-5 BAD airballs in that time frame, including Candace Parker trying some Harden-esque game-winner attempt in the waning moments. LOL it was bad.

I will say, they were battling. Lots of effort, LOTS of cringe but the shorty who was running point was KILLING with the dimes. She ended up having like 18 ASSISTS! Some LEGIT plays tbh.

She is married to one of her teammates. LMAO

Anyways, I survived and there were moments I actually enjoyed the basketball

 I think we might have been watching the same game, legit the only game I've watched and it was because I miss ball. I think her name is something like vandersloot :lol Great passing. But she is not good looking. I think it's crazy that she's married to a teammate. I shoot around with a couple of cute girls at the park, I guess that's as close as to that I will get :oldlol:

Was waiting for Candace Parker to do something and she was bad. She was getting cooked on defense as well, some girl was bullying her in the paint.
