slow morning so I thought i'd give it a try. The only issue I see is with the Raptors, if they're okay giving up Dragic for Gordon. I think Wall would nicely pair with Embiid. Rockets get two first round picks and a lot of expirers for their rebuild, Wizards pickup defense that neither Dinwiddie or Beal are known for.

This is a good trade for Houston and Washington. Literally no reason for 76ers and Raptors to entertain it. Three years of Eric Gordon on that contract is a net negative and I could only see him being flipped to a team that had expirings to match and didn’t expect to have cap space to add pieces in the foreseeable future. EG doesn’t make any discernible difference for that roster and that’s not even taking into account the Raps might actually get something useable back for Dragic

John Wall sucks dick and is way overpaid for what he gives you at this point, granted the 76ers don’t have cap space. Trading a malcontent all star/all defensive player AND a pick for a washed injury prone former star is horrible optics

Before the Vax crap I had this same idea but now Philly would be trading one headcase for another. Irving might see Embiid as good enough help not to go through with the retirement threat but he's now got a history of stupid problems that have kept him off the court in top of the injuries that have done the same. The more I think on it the less I would want any part of Irving.

This is true. When you break it down Simmons ultimately is worth a little more then Kyrie. Trading a big for a small is generally a bad idea
