The earth is flat.they actually found a solar system similar to us 35 light years away.

It even contains an ocean based planet. Interesting to think about. IF we ever develop the tech to travel there, do they have humans just like us? Or would they have dinosaurs?
Anyway, with how little we actually know, it’s definitely likely ‘aliens’ exist.

That's an interesting topic for sure, although like what the great richard dawkins once said...

Stephen Hawking is a known believer aliens exist.
And based on what we do know, there is an 'inhabitable zone' a certain distance from the star(in our case, our 'sun') depending on the size of the star, and ocean planets can support life. There's no scientific evidence for fairies to exist at the bottom of our gardens. Not the same thing.

It'll be awhile before we can visit the new solar system and see for ourselves, because we have to find a way to travel at the speed of light to get there in 35 years. Considering speed of light is like 60-700million miles per hour, and our record for space travel was like 24k mph(and that was a peak speed, not something sustainable)... yeah not our lifetime unfortunately.
Imagine, a star from that distance can be dead for 35 years and we'd still see it because that's how long it took for its light to travel to us after it's faded. Science is incredible. I'm sure this is just the tip of the iceberg too, I'm just a lowly finance major. Much smarter guys than me out there with much more expertise in the matter.

I know. The concept of having aliens is different from what he implied about fairies but still you know. Like what you're suggesting earlier, that 'if we do meet these aliens' someday; well, so far we haven't witnessed them yet personally even if their existence is proven or backed up by science. Some people would like to see whatever superstitious stuff with their own eyes first before they finally start to believe that they do exist.
And yea, i do agree that science is incredible but like what you said, we have yet to see and find a way how to go somewhere several light years away. True, it may not happen in our lifetime but this only shows that us humans have limitations. I am saying this because you know, as mere human beings we don't possess superpowers at all no matter how hard we may wish lmao. Something like teleportation, immortality or ability to travel back in time, alongside other useful and interesting powers. Instead, we only have different feelings, personalities, talents, knowledge and skills but not those, despite the ever-growing technology and inventions that we currently have rn.
Anyway that would be awesome if they're truly real but sadly, they aren't. That's the purpose of several fictions tho, to show that such various powers could exist. But possessed by whom tho, you ask? Ofc by gods, aliens, demons, ghosts, robots, dragons, heroes, villains, etc. you name it. However, when coupled with reality many people would start wondering which of these beings, as well as their powers, do actually show up irl. That's where the debate arises. It is a never-ending story indeed.

Scientifically, the chance of aliens existing is far greater than an invisible being called god that created the whole universe but only seeded Earth.

The idea of god mostly came from conscience and the subconscious i think.

The idea of god mostly came from conscience and the subconscious i think.Religion was created for control. The Viking heaven ‘Valhalla’ can only be entered by dying valorously in battle; Hassan I Sabbah reinterpreted his Islam and told his followers they’re allowed to renounce their religion ‘as an act’ so they can infiltrate other religious groups. Medieval peasants were promised a better life in heaven so they wouldn’t revolt against the nobles hoarding all the wealth. The crusades funded the rich templars who created the Swiss banking system we know today. Kenneth Copeland will tell you to send him seed money and tithe for his new G6 jet. It’s all very convenient.
