It's a scientific fact short people not only tend to live longer in equal conditions but also are more resistant to disease. Not only that they age better. Take a look at the best looking older famous women, they are almost all 5'5 and under, men are almost all 5'10 and under.

So would you rather be short and age better or be tall and have 5/6 of the lifespan and age quicker?

Asian people are getting taller and black people are getting shorter so it's my opinion that black people will take over the Earth in 100-200 years.

I think I'd rather be taller. Growing up, I was always the shortest boy in my class, or sometimes second shortest. Being the shortest kid sucks. Then around sixth grade I hit a major growth spurt and I wound up being 6'2". Not a giant by any means, but taller than most of the people I run into.

And while being short has its advantages, so does being tall. Tall people tend to make more money that their shorter colleagues, even if both of them are performing the same job and have similar amounts of experience. If a promotion becomes available, the taller person will usually receive first consideration. The other factor is chicks. Chicks dig the long ball. They also dig tall guys. Not saying a short guy can't hook up with a total fox, but a taller guy will usually have an easier number getting her number/convincing her to go out on a date/convincing her to come back to his place.
